Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America . The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States . No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. It%26#039;s not. But, the Mexican economy has become dependent on remitances from Mexicans working in the US, and the US economy has become dependent on that source of illegal cheap labor.
The Amnesty Bill won%26#039;t really resolve any of that. The employment and immigration laws of the US have to be rationalized - and Mexico needs to grow it%26#039;s own domestic economy - otherwise, the problem will remain, whether you remove the %26#039;illegal%26#039; tag or not.

Uh... because throughout history, situations like the one between the US and Mexico always end badly if something isn%26#039;t done to help the poorer economy get better. I can think of a million such examples. The most important one is the Roman Empire. They ignored their neighbors so long that the neighbors got jealous of them and their insane riches. Romans were every bit as selfish as us when it came to their neighbors and they paid the price.

However, since when have human beings been 100% good at following rules and doing what is right. The problem is just that at this time from that place it is getting out of hand and at a time where Americans really see that we have a lot of our own problems that need to be addressed and the issues of citizens need to come first.
