Growing up, I was extremely near-sighted, whereas my twin has 20/20. So naturally, I had to wear glasses.
Our entire lives when we hang out together the %26quot;intellects%26quot; instantly flock to me, even though my brother is way smarter than me (he went to princeton on a scholarship, i went to state college w/school loans. lol)
Seeing as how we both look alike, it%26#039;s GOT to be the glasses. My bro is just as well spoken as me and as an accountant that has travelled the world extensively, I believe he comes across much more refined than me.
I know i sterotype people -- I flip the channel when rap videos come on, but when I saw rapper Lupe Fiasco (he wears glasses) I was like, %26quot;Hmm...maybe I%26#039;ll give him a chance%26quot;. And yeah, I ended up loving him.

Well, I used to wear glasses/contacts until I had Lasik surgery done and I%26#039;ve seen this from both sides. I tend to stereotype people with glasses as smart. I especially find myself attracted to guys who have really cool glasses - like frameless ones, really delicate wire rims or the thick-framed artsy-fartsy (%26lt;-yeah, a technical term) looking ones.
On the other hand, I know that guys have written me off as dating material because I wore glasses. (shrug)
Glasses can be a blessing and a curse, I suppose.

some times i do depending on what type of glasses he has on. If they are super thick. I get a little scared but if they fit their face i would talk.

My ex wore glasses from the age of 3, and was always judged by them. He was/is quite intellectually brilliant, which had nothing to do with his bad eyesight.

No, people who wear glasses arent smarter, because there is no need to wear glasses. You can do certain eye exercises which force the eyes to focus.
Glasses encourage eyes to weaken.

not usually, because I wear glasses myself. But people always tell me I look like an innocent librarian, when they get to know me they are usually surprised.

The only stereotype I have about people with glasses is that they have some kind of vision problem so they need corrective lenses.

well it depends on the person, of course. some people look nerdy with or without glasses and some people don%26#039;t. i start to sterotype people with glasses sometimes, but then i look beyond that.

I absolutely hate stereotype. Sooo naturally I am not going to stereotype people. Stereotypes are WRONG and I dont believe in them. If I see a guy with glasses I dont automatically think %26quot;oh he wears glasses so he must be a dork and not have a girlfriend%26quot; Noooooo thats wrong and stupid it just means the persons vision is f%26#039;ked up.
