-You insist that we must interpret the Bible literally.

-You insist that unless a person turns from their supposed sin, that they will not inherit the kingdom of God.

So,

1 Corinthians 6:9 says fornicators, adulterers and homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. Luke 16:18 says that anyone who divorces and remarries is committing adultery.

50% of the country is divorced, unless the divorced remain celibate...they do not turn from their sin, so will not go to heaven.

10% of the country is gay, again, no turning away from sin, no heaven.

A large number of people have filed bankruptcy, or defaulted on school loans or credit card debt...if they never repay, they never turned form their sin, so will go to hell.

People who die fat, have never turned from their sin of gluttony...so, will go to hell.

People who have to start their morning off with caffeine, be it coffee or coke, have mad that their idol...so, are addicted and will not go to heaven.

People who have trusted in Jesus. It%26#039;s as simple as that. All the sin in their life, whether they turn from it or not, is covered by the blood of Jesus. He knows that no one can live up the standard of perfection God has set for us to enter heaven. That%26#039;s why He is the Way for us.

The verse you quoted is referring to people who live sin as a lifestyle and don%26#039;t believe in Jesus. People who are Christians are less likely to commit those sins. Even if they do, Jesus blood covers all of it.

1) Anyone can repent until the day they die.God knows the heart,whether or not it is real or not.

2) When Jesus taught ,He taught as one under the Law of Moses.Since His death and resurrection,we live under grace and can be forgiven for divorce etc.Jesus said except for adultery,a person shouldn%26#039;t divorce.Paul says if you do divorce,and if you remarry, one needs to marry a Christian.If you become a Christian and your spouse is not.Try to stay with them ,but if they insist on leaving,it%26#039;s OK but if you remarry ,remarry a Christian.

Jesus was talking about the way the Jews had mis-interpreted the law.If a wife say,burnt the toast,all the man would have to do is write a bill of divorce and out she went.Jesus said that is not the way God set it up.

3) The Old Testament as well as the New Testament condemns homosexuality Read Leviticus ,Exodus, and Romans 1 especially)When God says something once,it is important.When He says it more than once ,we better pay attention!Being gay is a sin like every other sin and can be forgiven if the person turns and stops it and repents.

4)If one defaults on a debt just to gey away with not paying ,it is a sin.If they truly can%26#039;t our laws forgive that.

5)There is no written sin in the Law (which we are not beholding to anyway)about gluttony ,that is Catholic dogma not the Bible.

6) About coffee and such.....you%26#039;re really grasping at straws now.If coffee kept me from worshipping God it would be an idol.The worst %26quot;idol%26quot; I have is not enough sleep on Sunday morning to get my butt up for church.Whether I go or not I still worship God everyday,through prayer and study.

Well not all the Bible is to be taken literally because it wasnt meant to. But we have the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, something the unbeliever does not have.

Paul isnt so much laying down a legalistic exclusive universal list of damnable sins in those verses. If so, then it wouldve been about a page long listing every possible sin. The context of the passage is that Paul is talking about how believers need to be different from the world and was just pointing out examples of worldly behavior. People dont go to hell because of any one sin GC, they go to hell because of their love and acceptance of sin and the rejection of God.

If you have no spiritually you%26#039;ll have no understanding. If you see the tip of an iceberg and think there is nothin under the water...Get the picture?

God loves you (even if you choose not to believe it) and me and all of His creation. Much of the world want instant gratification. We live in remote control, microwave society. When it comes to the bible, maybe you should get up and turn the channel yourself. It just works better that way.

Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.

In the Old Testament, there was always a remnant of believing people. The one time in God%26#039;s redemptive history that will be unique is the Tribulation. According to Revelation 7, there will be an innumerable multitude of Gentiles redeemed out of every nation, language, and people (v. 9). There will also be redeemed people from the nation of Israel (vv. 4閳?; Rom. 11:26). There will be a massive response to the gospel during the Tribulation. Many people will respond to Christ. But for this age, the response to Christ is small because men would rather hold onto their own sin. Jesus said that men love their darkness (Jn. 3:19)
