I%26#039;d be really nervous about doing that. The IRS has a lot of power to get the money you owe them, and if the debt consolidator doesn%26#039;t pay it, you could end up owing more money. These debt consolidators are notorious for taking your money and not making the payments.

If you can%26#039;t come up with the cash, you%26#039;d be better off to try to get a loan for the IRS debt with a bank, and pay the bank back, if you can%26#039;t work out a payment plan directly with the IRS.
