Opinions/advice PLEASE!?!?

i recently(4 months ago) took a job working as a recpetionist/escrow assistant, i thought this job was nice at first. but ive come to realize i hate it. i want to look for a new job bc 1)pay. i realize the $1300 a month sounds great on paper but doing my own taxes on it leaves me with about $800 a month to live on(i have tons of bills, plus school loans to kick in soon). 2) the drama that goes on here is killing me, im not even part of it i just hear about it all. 3) the work load is more than i expected...and i dont feel i was properly trained and 4)im youngest by 20 years(i really dont have the chance to talk to anyone my age while at work)!! i really like my bosses(the one who hired me is a friends mom) and i want to stick around to help but this isnt at all like i thought it would be. any opinions/advice on leaving or finding a way to be happier here. i dont mean to ***** and moan about this stuff but im really stressed over it all. i really appreciate it!!

Opinions/advice PLEASE!?!?

i think you need to talk to your boss, explain your position is not complaining, but that you need a solution. If the job is more than you signed on for (most are) and you don%26#039;t like it, find something else and make sure your position can be filled and that your desk is clean and organized when you leave (that%26#039;s all you can do)

FYI, from someone who has learned much about %26quot;new jobs%26quot; this year - go for what makes you happy, not the $$$, it will follow eventually, better to be happy than rich (sad, but true)

Opinions/advice PLEASE!?!?

Start job hunting now. The average job search takes about 4 months start to finish (finish = new job found and starting it). You don%26#039;t have to tell anyone you%26#039;re looking, but you should definitely start putting your resume up on the big job boards and sending it to some places that look interesting. You might also consider talking to a job recruiter who can help you assess your strengths/weaknesses and find a perfect position for you (this is not something you pay for, fyi. if they try to get you to pay, leave and go somewhere else).

Just stick it out at your current place of employ until you%26#039;re able to find something better. Even if you don%26#039;t find a place to make more money, you need to be happy at work. No one your age, and lots of catfighting and drama do not make you happy, obviously, so it%26#039;s time to go elsewhere!

I wish you the best of luck!
